Arsenal finally wins after Swansea GK’s blunder
By ROB HARRIS, AP Sports Writer
LONDON (AP)—Andrei Arshavin gave Arsenal its first victory of the Premier League season on Saturday, exploiting Swansea’s goalkeeping blunder to clinch a 1-0 win.
The Russia striker scored five minutes before halftime to bring an end to a six-match league run without a win stretching back into last season.
That Old Trafford setback, which left Arsenal with just one point after three matches, was swiftly followed by Wenger making a raft of signings in the three days before the summer transfer window closed.
Goalkeeper Wojciech Szczesny had to be alert to turn Graham’s seventh-minute shot around the post and prevent Swansea scoring its first goal since gaining promotion.

EPL: Arsenal vs Swansea City 12BET 9/10/11 10PM
Arsenal finally get back to it against newly promoted Swansea. After the misery of their last match and the mild catharsis of an active transfer deadline day, there really couldn't be a better time for Arsenal to face one of the top flight's new boys.
Match pointers:
• These teams have not met in league competition since the 1982-83 season – Arsenal beat Swansea home and away
• Arsenal have never lost three consecutive home games in the Premier League
• Should Swansea fail to score they will become the third team in history to have fired blanks in their opening four fixtures of a Premier League season
• Arsène Wenger has used 23 players already this season, more than any other manager
• Ashley Williams has attempted more passes than any player this season.

Premier League - Reports: Nasri breaks hand
Manchester City may be without new signing Samir Nasri for their Premier League clash with Wigan on Saturday after reports emerged that he broke a bone in his hand while on international duty.
The 24-year-old finished that match in Bucharest with no apparent problems, but reports have emerged that he may have either damaged his hand or broken a finger at some point during the latest round of international matches.

EPL News in Summary!
Manchester United : First-team coach Rene Meulensteen believes Chelsea's squad is "too old" to provide any real competition for the Barclays Premier League title this season. Sir Alex Ferguson's assistant also believes local rivals Manchester City, tipped as serious contenders for title success this term, will not be able to compete with United's experience in winning silverware.
Liverpool: Wales manager Gary Speed says Craig Bellamy has been "robbed" of the chance to face England at Wembley after his booking in the 2-1 win over Montenegro ruled him out of the match. The new Liverpool signing was shown yellow towards the end of the first half for shirt-pulling.
