Saturday’s 2-1 loss against West Bromwich Albion was Blackburn’s 10th of the season, with 16 games now played. They remain in 19th place in the Premier League.Despite their lowly league position, Steve Kean’s team have scored more goals than every team in the bottom half of the table.Striker Yakubu has led the way, scoring nine of Blackburn’s 23 goals so far, including all four in the club’s 4-2 victory over Swansea City.

They have notched 20 so far this season, second only to their opponents on Tuesday night among clubs in the bottom half of the table.Striker Ivan Klasnic (pictured right) has been one of few positives to come out of Bolton’s season so far. The Croatian has seven goals in 14 Premier League games.Defending has been the problem.
