Lampard penalty sees Chelsea beat City
Veteran midfielder comes off bench to earn win over 10-man League leaders
Frank Lampard scored a late penalty as Chelsea came from behind to end Manchester City's unbeaten run in the Barclays Premier League.
Mario Balotelli put City in front inside two minutes when he latched on to a precision pass from Sergio Aguero and rounded Petr Cech to slot home.
League leaders City dominated much of the possession but Chelsea midfielder Raul Meireles equalised when he volleyed in after a fine run and cross from Daniel Sturridge.
Gael Clichy was sent off for a second yellow card and City's 10 men could not hold on as Joleon Lescott handled Sturridge's shot and substitute Lampard's spot-kick sealed the win for Chelsea. - http://www.premierleague.com
