THE LATEST UEFA CHAMPIONS LEAGUE NEWS – Premier
League champions Manchester City suffer their second Champions League exit in a
row after failing to win against Real Madrid. City only managed a 1-1 draw
against the Spanish champions on Wednesday’s game.
Neither of the teams showed
advantage to win w1th ease, but Karim Benzema scored the first goal for Madrid
10 minutes past kick-off. City’s successful chance came in late from Sergio
Aguero’s 74th-minute penalty equalizer.
Cristiano Ronaldo saw his efforts go
wide, while Sami Khedira failed to make the most out of his three chances.
Nevertheless, Madrid is set to emerge as their group’s second Champions League
qualifier next to Borussia Dortmund.
