– Andy Carroll, loaned out by Liverpool to West Ham United, is now a target of
Tottenham Hotspur as the north London club is seeking to improve their attack.
Carroll, an England striker, has the
option to join West Ham by the end of the season for a £17 million fee.
Liverpool can call the striker back following their need for a striker.
The Spurs are considering adding
more threat to their attack alongside strike force Jermain Defoe and Emmanuel
Adebayor. Their failure to win with ease against Wigan Athletic in their last
Premier League match placed manager Andre Villas-Boas under fire.
