Clube Desportivo Feirense, commonly known as CD Feirense or just Feirense, is a Portuguese football team founded on 19 March 1918 from the town of Santa Maria da Feira. Feirense is currently playing the Liga de Honra and finished 14th in the 2007–08 season. After a short run on the Portuguese Liga, they have been promoted three times to the division. Unfortunately, they have been relegated the following season but Feirense hasn't been able to get back up to the first division since its third relegation in the 1989–90 season. Their current chairman is Rodrigo Nunes Silva Abelha and their current manager is Francisco Chaló. The club currently plays at the Estádio Marcolino de Castro with a capacity of 5,500 spectators. Their most prominent historic players are Mamadi Baldé, Henry Makinwa, and William.
