Manchester City boss has said that his side are still in the title race after coming from behind to salvage a point against a spirited Sunderland at the Etihad.
Man City were 1-3 down in the 55th minute and were looking down the barrel of their first home defeat of the season but goals from Mario Balotelli and Alexandor Kolarov rescued City.
After the game, City manager Roberto Mancini said: "It was a crazy game, a very emotional game. We didn't play well but we have a chance again. It was very important to play well but we didn't. We defended very badly."
"We made mistakes. I'm not happy with our performance."
Sebastien Larsson gave the away side the lead just after the half-hour mark but Mario Balotelli equalised in the 43rd minute from the penalty spot. After the re-start, Bendtner and Larsson scored in the space of 10 minutes to give Martin O'Neill's side a 3-1 lead. But City showed gret character and clawed their way back. Balotelli scored a goal from the edge of the box, a beautiful curling shot and in the next minute Kolarov equalised with a low, drilled shot. Speaking of United's game on Monday night, Mancini said: "They can do a draw on Monday, why not? Are we still in the title race? I think so because eight games is enough to do two draws."
"It's normal. Until we have a point to win this league we will try until the end. I'm sure that we will do better [against Arsenal next week] than today."
