West Bromwich Albion consolidated their place in the Barclays Premier League after an excellent second half of the campaign.
They were on a downward spiral and heading back towards the Championship when Roy Hodgson replaced Roberto di Matteo in early February.
A sequence of 16 points from nine matches under the former Liverpool boss ensured top flight survival with three matches remaining.
