Wolves defender believes club can avoid relegation from Barclays Premier League

Centre-back Roger Johnson joined Wolves for £7m from Birmingham City last summer

Wolves defender Roger Johnson believes there is enough quality at Molineux for the club to avoid relegation this season.

The Midlanders have slipped into the Barclays Premier League relegation zone in recent weeks after a run of eight matches without a victory.
They lost their last match 3-2 at home to Aston Villa after leading 2-1 at one stage, but Johnson says they need to start turning good performances into points.

Johnson joined Wolves from Birmingham City last summer for £7m after the Blues were relegated from the Barclays Premier League and he has made 22 League appearances this season.
Wolves face Liverpool at Molineux on Tuesday 31st January, and with the club enjoying a free weekend after being knocked out of the FA Cup, Johnson is looking forward to getting back on to the pitch.- http://www.premierleague.com/
